Hey, what's up, everybody? Welcome to Vibing with Sleazy, the podcast. This is season seven, episode 13. I want to thank everybody for listening, tuning in, and downloading. It's been a great season so far. So I just released episode 12. It's all gonna be coming out the same day, 12, 13, and 14. And like I said, on 12, uh I did night one of WrestleMania 42. Episode 13 here will be night two of WrestleMania 42. And then episode 14 will be the NBA playoff preview. So on this episode, I'm gonna break down all the matches of night two's WrestleMania 42 card from Las Vegas, Nevada. Um, we have some great matches for night two, and a lot of people are excited. Like I've said in the past episode on number 12, the WWE has really been using events like Coachella, podcasts, promotional material to really build up this event. It's 13 matches overall between the two nights coming from Las Vegas. So it's a big weekend. Um, you know, it brings attention to the whole wrestling world. Uh, there's tons of events, tons of wrestling shows independent out there. So it's really, really cool what WWE does during WrestleMania, what other wrestling brands uh get involved with. And so I'm really excited to see night two. I believe, in my opinion, night two is a little more exciting than night one. However, I think overall, both nights really bring it. Uh, like I've said, there's been some people that are not a huge fan of this card for both nights. Some people are a fan, so I think it goes either way, but I do believe the promotion has been very, very exciting uh for both nights. And so I'm really excited to uh go over night two for you. So with night two's match card overall, you got Oba Femi versus Brock Lesnar, you got the Intercontinental Championship, which is Pinta versus J.Vion Evans versus Dragon Lee versus JD McDonough versus Rusev versus Ray Mysterio in the latter match. You got the WWE Women's Championship with Jay Cargill versus Rhea Ripley. You got the United States Championship with Sami Zayn versus Trick Williams, you got Finn Balor versus Dominic Mysterial, and then you got the World Heavyweight Championship, which will be the main event of the night, CM Punk versus Roman Reigns, which everyone's very excited about that match. I am, so I'm really excited to see how that plays out. So let's start breaking it down. I've released in this episode on Saturday, the day of the WrestleMania event. So I wanted to get these matches out a few hours before to give people time to listen. And even if you don't get to listen before it happens, you can kind of see if my predictions played out right. And I just wanted to go over each match. So this is always a great time of the year with sports. Uh, you know, you have the Masters, the NBA playoffs, you got WrestleMania, you got Derby coming up. So it's always really big. And I'm gonna have a Derby episode coming out um here soon because derby's right around the corner. Today's actually Thunder over Louisville. It's April 18th here in Louisville. So I was downtown at a Louisville bats game last night. Everybody's super excited, you can tell for the derby. Uh, they had uh horse racing on the field with people dressed up like horses. Churchill Downs is out there. Uh they had the mint julep uh jerseys on, you know, which is kind of the spinoff, and the Louisville bats aren't the bats. They have the the the bourbon barrel team, the the smashers, they got the mint julep people uh team, you know, and they uh they also have their uh Hispanic night, which is awesome. So they really, really try to make different brands. I believe this year we got like the Louisville Humidity. Uh, me and my buddy EJ, we went into the gift shop there at the Badge Stadium last night. I hadn't been in there this year, and they got great stuff in there, really, really high quality. However, you look at the jerseys, and it's insane. They're all a hundred bucks. Now, I love their jerseys, I think they look great, but man, prices have gone up on jerseys, hats, everything. I felt like such an old man because he's a young dude, and I told him, I said, bro, I feel like stuff just keeps going up with fanatics getting involved, with branding, with how much material is out. You know, you used to be able to buy a hat for 32 bucks, you know, now hats are 40 to 52 dollars. Um jerseys, you know, you used to be able to get them for 80 bucks. Now you're paying over 100. So, you know, you got to spend money nowadays. Um, the great thing about eBay, you can find a lot of these materials where people aren't using them anymore. You can find stuff at an affordable price, but um, I definitely was tempted on some items there in the gift shop. I love that old uh Riverbats logo, so that was cool seeing that they still have those hats. But let's break down WrestleMania 42 Night 2's match card. So, Oba Femi versus Brock Lesnar. This has been a dominant battle. Brock Lesnar is going to be retiring later this year. Um, Oba Femi is this huge beast who seems like the first person in reality to really be Brock's level of intensity. Yeah, you know, John Cena, Undertaker, people that have battled out with Brock, and Brock's lost matches. He's won big matches, but for a while there, he had that dominant streak where he was just never losing. He was just so dominant. But I believe with this match, WWE's done a great job with them battling out with the different things. There was something really funny. Brock Lesnar's daughter, um, she ended up taking a picture with Oba at a at a promotional event, and it's just really funny to see, you know, uh her and her dad, you know, her dad's gonna battle it out with this guy, and she's taking a picture like a fan. So it was really cool. But I think this match is gonna be huge for Oba. I think this is what's gonna put Omah over huge. I think people are gonna start really backing him and seeing, hey, this guy just took down Brock Lesnar. However, what I've heard through the grapevine is that Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar have been talking to WWE Creative and saying, you know, Brock can't lose this early on the retirement run, you know, yada yada yada. Uh, you know, he, even though Brock and Paul always go back and forth, it's funny because, you know, you know, Paul still kind of speaks for Brock and represents Brock. But Oba Femi versus Brock Lesnar, I just think it's gonna be a battle of intensity. I think it's gonna be like that 5-2 McIntyre match from night one, and I just see these two big guys battling out. But I think Oba is gonna get the win. I think Oba needs this win, and I think it's gonna be a big push for him for the next couple years to see how he plays out in WWE. Uh the Intercontinental Championship, which is Pinta, who's the champion. I'm really glad Pinta got that championship because when he came over from AEW, um, he got a really big push. Uh, there was a couple botches uh during matches, but I feel like now he's really cemented his WWE uh presence, and I think uh this match is gonna bring it. A ladder match with all these big names is huge. The only person that's throwing me off is Rusev. He's not a ladder type guy. All these other guys are high flowers and jump off things and flip. So I think with him, he's gonna be one of those people that just catches people and just slams them, and he's gonna be that dominant force in the match. And I could really see him using the ladder as a as a big weapon. Um, Pinta versus Javion Evans versus Dragon League versus JD McDonough versus Rusev versus Ray Mysterio. Out of these guys, who I believe will win the match is gonna be Javion Evans. I think they're pushing him big time. He's had some injuries with that shoulder, um, but I just feel like he's young. I feel like he's one of the future talents of WWE. He brings that energy. He's great on the mic, he's done good with promos. So I'm really, really excited to see how this plays out. I think Jebion Evans um can definitely get that win. I think again, the person that, if it wasn't Jebion, I think the person that would pull it off and be a huge upset is Rusev. I don't think anybody expects him again to excel and win against these competitors in a ladder match. So if Jebion didn't win, it's gonna be Rusev, I think, just being a dominant force. Um, I like that they've got Rey Mysterio included, you know, the WWE Hall of Famer, the legend, um, but I just don't see him still in the title pitcher, and I don't see him winning this championship. But this match will be a lot of fun, and it's gonna be very, very high flying. Um, WWE Women's Championship, Jade Cargill versus Rhea Ripley. Jay Cargill is the champion. Jade came from AEW. Uh they really put her into training. Um, she was overall practicing at the WWE uh headquarters there. Uh, they took her off TV for a while. A lot of people, there was rumors saying there's injuries, there's she's not doing well against the competition. Jade Cargill's a star. She is built like a Greek goddess. She's unbelievable. She is literally dominant force, and she was awesome in AEW. She was a force. So I really like to see what what she's been doing. I think this match is good because you got two powerhouses, Jade versus Rhea, but Jade's gonna win. Jade just has two momentum. Jade is popular. There's people that try to hate on Jade and say, oh, she's on PDE or PDs and uh steroids stuff. Bullshit. She just genetically built perfectly, and I feel like she is going to really battle it out with Rhea, and I think they're gonna keep that belt on Jade. Uh Jade is actually married to uh former WWE or excuse me, former Cincinnati Red superstar. I'm so tied under wrestling right now, uh Brandon Phillips. So um really cool that they're married in real life, and so I'm excited to see what Jade can do, and I think this will be a big WrestleMania moment for her. Um, the United States Championship, Sami Zayn, who's the champion versus Trick Williams. This match was interesting how this kind of played out. It was kind of off of a backstage promo. Trick Williams has had a big push when he came to Louisville, Kentucky for the SmackDown. They had him on the news. He's he's built real good. He's got the look of the WWE wants and likes to have, and they're superstars. But Sammy Zayn has has been a legend. He's also that back and forth heel, babyface, heel, babyface. But I think this is where Trick Williams elevates his career. I think this is where he he gets the belt. This is just kind of a storyline and a way to get Sammy involved with WrestleMania. Yes, he's the champion, so of course he's gonna be on the card, but I just feel like they kind of gave him the belt that way. Trick can win it at WrestleMania. And this is gonna give Trick a big push for this next year run in WWE. So I see Trick winning that. Uh the Finn Balor versus Dominic Mysterio match. So this will be the first match in years where Finn Balor's the demon. Um, it's his ultra ego, um, very, very scary, intense. I remember when he started and had that demon, it was just it was awesome to watch, even though kind of the same style of wrestling, but he just brings it more intensely, and he's just like a demon and got that paint and the headpiece, and it's just wild. He looks so different. Um, Finn Balor's had a legendary career from Japan to WWE to everything he's done. But Dominic Mysterio, we just have to admit, the man's a superstar. No one saw this coming a few years back when he was tagging with his dad, but when he turned on his dad, got involved with the judgment day, the the Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan Love Triangle, and everything he's done, and especially for wrestling in Mexico, uh, you know, being part of Triple A, the dude is a star. You talking about over, this guy is over, and to have the second del you know, excuse me, the the match right before the main event. Literally, right before the World Heavyweight Championship, you can just tell Dominic Mysterio has really, really made it. And I'm excited to see how this match plays out. I think it's gonna be intense, but I just think Dominic's gonna win. There may be cheating involved, but Mysterio's gonna pull it off. And then our main event, the World Heavyweight Championship, CM Punk the champion versus Roman Reigns. These two hate each other. Similar to the AJ Lee Becky Lynch, similar to Jacob Faituo, Drew McIntyre, there is pure hatred. And CM Punk and Roman Reigns have hated each other. Uh, there's actually a few good uh episodes on YouTube where they really break down the storyline between these two. But with CM Punk leaving WWE originally, he was the one that kind of had this vision for the shield, helped, you know, write it. He did a uh podcast uh with his buddy from AEW. They kind of you know put down Roman. Roman felt like he had to really battle it out and uh felt like it, you know, put a tarnish on what he was dealing with because you know he got booted in Philly at Arrestman. I mean, Roman Reigns' career has gone so up and down. When he had the cancer scare, I felt like the crowd really got attached to him and really started believing the like this dude's a good dude outside of Rust and all this stuff. But the way he's been a heel, the way he's been with that whole Sami Zayn story with his cousins and the Usos, and just Roman Reigns has been that backbone for WWE for a long time. And I think that's why he hates seeing Punk so much because Punk comes in and but Roman Reigns has the common sense to know Punk's punk is over, punk is over in every wrestling brand he's at from Ring of Honor to AEW to WWE. Is he controversial? Hell yeah. He's not afraid to say anything on the mic. There's times I like punk, there's times I get kind of like tired of him, but I just feel like seeing punk is entertaining. I feel like he's somebody that everyone can relate to. You know, he just has that backing. Um, you know, but I believe with this match, I just think this is gonna be very brutal. Um, I think they're gonna keep the belt on punk. They're not gonna have punk lose this at WrestleMania with this being, you know, he's already had some injuries where he lost out, uh, being able to participate in his early, you know, here last year or so with WWE. But Roman Reigns has also been a guy, just like Punk, ups and downs with injuries gone. But these two right now, the hatred, the rivalry, the realness, this is a match you really feel real hate. You you see two guys that are really, really gonna battle it out. So I'm excited to see how this plays out, but I believe CM Punk will close out night two, close out all of WrestleMania, the 13th match, winning the World Heavyweight Championship. And I think it's gonna be um a storyline that's still not gonna stop. I just feel like that rivalry with Roman Reigns being one of the biggest superstars in WWE, they're not just gonna have this just, you know, just go away after WrestleMania. And there, and that's gonna happen with a lot of these matches. There's gonna be rematches. It's always fun to watch Raw and SmackDown after the WrestleMania because you see the rematches, you see how things play out, and they always try to tie in things and show you recaps of WrestleMania if you didn't get to watch and stuff like that. So, but I believe CM Punk will win the championship. So I got Oba Femi winning versus Brock Lesnar, I got Jebion Evans winning the Intercontinental Championship in the latter match. I got the WWE Women's Championship staying with Jay Cargill, the United States Championship, I got going to Trick Williams. I got Dominic Mysterio beating Finn Balor, the demon, and the World Heavyweight Championship closing out WrestleMania 42, CM Punk beats Roman Reigns. I want to thank everybody for listening. This has been a blast covering WrestleMania. I hope everyone has a great two nights of WrestleMania 42. Um, hopefully my predictions play out right. It's always fun predicting. That's what I try to do on these sports episodes. So enjoy WrestleMania. Peace.
