Hey, what's up, everybody? Welcome to Bibin' with Sleazy the podcast. This is season seven, episode 12. I want to thank everybody for listening, tuning in, and downloading. It's been a great season so far. I've had amazing guests. Um, just had Whitney Yadon on and uh very talented artist, and it was a great episode, got a lot of great feedback. But uh these next three episodes I'm gonna release are gonna be solo episodes. I'm gonna release them all on Saturday, uh the 18th of April. Uh this is WrestleMania weekend, uh two nights, and then uh the NBA playoffs. So with the three episodes, this one, episode 12, is gonna be about night one at WrestleMania. Then episode 13 will be about night two, and then episode 14 will be the NBA playoffs. I'm gonna drop them all on Saturday. Um, I'm recording them this morning. It has been a super busy uh week, starting a new job. I've had some uh shoulder injury that I've been getting worked on. However, the podcast got to keep pumping out, and this is always the best time of the year for sports coverage, and these episodes always do well because people tune in and listen. So I'm gonna get these episodes out uh this afternoon before WrestleMania starts. So hopefully people can give it a listen to get hype for the event, or just listen to what my predictions were and see if they come correct. Uh with the NBA playoffs, I'm gonna break it all the way down, pick my champion, and kind of go over the bracket. And uh with that, started this uh week with the play in games, and uh games are rolling in all day today. So I'm gonna try to get all this content out before all that starts uh round three, and then WrestleMania is tonight, like I said. So with episode 12 here, this is night one of WrestleMania 42. So WrestleMania 42 is in Las Vegas. Um they have been really, really hyped all week uh doing events out there. Uh what's always great about WrestleMania, it brings people in to watch also independent wrestling and other promotions who all will do shows out in Vegas to be around that. They have uh conventions, interviews, all kinds of stuff. So um always wanted to go to WrestleMania. Hopefully, I can go one day. Uh clearly will not be going to the future ones in Saudi Arabia, but um, you know, hopefully one that's here in the States I can get over to. Um, but overall, it's been um a lot of fun watching wrestling, getting hyped up for WrestleMania. A lot of people are disappointed with the two nights. Some people are excited. I've been watching a lot of YouTube content and other people, and the feedback has been so up and down because a lot of people think that, you know, there's just some things that WWE is doing that, you know, it's just not good for the WrestleMania card. But in my opinion, I like some of the matches. I'm excited. I will be watching and and uh checking them all out. So I'm excited, and I'm always excited for WrestleMania. It's something to look forward to every year, and I always think that you know, even if a couple matches drop the ball, uh the the nights are great. And with it being two nights, you get plenty of wrestling and uh plenty of things. Uh funny story at my job, I had a gentleman come in, one of the clients, and uh, you know, everybody was telling him he looked like Zach uh Galifanakis from the hangover, and then he looked at me and he's like, No, he's like, I also get mankind. And I looked at him, and he's an older guy, and I lost it because I could just picture him, and then he started talking in the mankind voice. So it was hilarious. Uh, that was definitely a moment I I'm I still laugh about uh today this morning. But overall, uh WrestleMania 42, uh, like I said, set place in Las Vegas, Nevada, Saturday and Sunday. WWE has loaded up WrestleMania with a mix of superstar wrestlers and the involvement of some mainstream stars as well. Uh the 13 matches for the two-day event, uh, night one is going to be headlined by Randy Orton Challenge and Cody Rhodes for the undisputed WWE Championship. And a controversial twist of the match, Pat McAfee is revealed as the voice in Orton's ear. And now McAfee will have to leave the wrestling business forever if Orton fails the uh win tonight. And Orton cut a promo on SmackDown last night. Um I went to a Louisville Bats game and I came home and tried to watch a few of the recaps of last night's SmackDown. Um very interesting SmackDown, right before WrestleMania. I thought kind of things were a little bit thrown together. Um, but overall, like you know, like the street fight, um, there, you know, you know, but the promos, that's pretty much what everybody's banking on, especially before WrestleMania. But Orton delivered a promo. Thought it was very interesting what he said. I did like him admitting that he didn't need Pat McAfee, but I also, you know, understand what he's trying to say, and he feels like he was burned by Cody. And, you know, but overall, I will give WWE credit. What the way they've been using podcasts and media to hype up this WrestleMania card uh with Jay Uso attacking Cameron on the It Is What It Is podcast with Mace, um, what they've done with uh I show Speed and LA Night, and then what you know, Pat McAfee with Cody Rhodes and Cody Rhodes attacking the set of the Pat McAfee show. So very interesting. But let's dive into WrestleMania night one. These two resume episodes aren't gonna be super long, but I'm gonna break it all down and I just want to give you my predictions, kind of go over the matches, and this that way you know what to look forward to tonight and tomorrow night. So the first match I'm gonna go over for the night match one card is uh Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and I show speed versus the Usos and LA Knight. So, like I just said, this match has been very hyped off podcasts, promotional media, and a lot of things that um are trying to, you know, hype it up and and and get that attention on the match because WWE loves to try to throw in um people that are outside of wrestling. Now, when it's for like a one-night event, it's always done well. Pat McAfee was was a good commentator when when he's commentating, but this heel persona of Pat McAfee, I find it very corny. I'm not a big Pat McAfee fan. I think he is um just like Burt Kreisher, just just attention seeking, stupid as fuck. But at the end of the day, people love him. Um I know everybody has a different opinion. Uh I do think he's done a lot to uh you know create his media brand. But overall, um being tied into wrestling and it's just goofy to me. Same thing with Jelly Row. A lot of this shit's just goofy. But WWE throws them in there because they know it's gonna bring attention and they're always gonna utilize who they can use at that time, you know, in the past with like Drew Carey at the Royal Rumble, Pete Rose, you know, uh both of those, you know, involving Kane. Uh so just this very interesting. But again, I'm hyped for it all, and you know, I'm always always down to see how it's gonna play out. But with this match, Logan Paul, Austin Theory, you know, they've been in the vision this year, and uh, you know, they they have really been trying to push Austin Theory. I feel like Austin Theory is a super talented wrestler, uh, but I feel like overall he has not got to um really highlight his career. You know, they they've partnered with other people. He's he's but he's just uh Vince McMahon always believed in him. Um and I just feel like him with Logan Paul, they're they're two great heels. And I feel like overall, too, that both guys they just work very well together. Ashow Speed having that connection to Logan Paul, being YouTubers, they're kind of protecting Asho Speed because Ash O Speed, who has been on other wrestling events, uh in actually interfered with LA Knight's match, uh, you know, losing that. And then the Usos, who always been a legendary tag team. Jay Uso had that great singles run, but they're part of LA Knight because they want to shut these guys up. And I feel like, again, the way they utilize the podcast uh and what Jey Uso did to Cameron, Cameron was genius for that because their podcast has really taken off in the sports world, especially with the NBA. But them tying in Jey Uso and the way Cameron did it, and and you could tell, very, very scripted, but they made it real. Jey Uso really, really did well on there, so I was really excited to see it. But I feel like with this match overall, I feel like the Usos and LA Knight are gonna win this match. Um, I don't feel like they're gonna let uh a match of I show speed to stop the Usos, stop LA Knight, who have always had a big push, especially the past couple years, and I just feel like it's gonna get entertaining. Yes, there is that alternate universe where I show speed brings out somebody else and something happens or another celebrity gets involved or somebody from the vision. But at the end of the day, or even Paul Heyman, but at the end of the day, I just think the Usos and LA Knight will become on top. I don't see anything in the future running with those guys, partnering again, uh, you know, the Usos and Knight, but I just feel like they are partnering together because they they have past history battling each other, and they've also had past history of dealing with some people that they both want to take down. So very excited to see this match uh be a good one to start, and I believe those two will get the win. Uh teams, three guys overall. So the next match is Jacob Fatou versus Drew McIntyre, and it's an unsanctioned match. So when WrestleMania and WWE does an unsanctioned match, and they've done this on other nights, they do it on SmackDown Raw. Um, other wrestling brands have had unsanctioned nights. What unsanctioned basically means it's not sanctioned in wrestling. They don't want to be responsible. Nobody can be held responsible. The company, you know, other matches are sanctioned where the brand or whoever that that wrestling match is being played on, they can represent that. But when it comes unsanctioned, uh it's pretty much gonna be violent, it's gonna be hardcore, and nobody wants to be held responsible besides the two men that are in the match. Um, with this unsanctioned match, I do find it kind of funny to have an unsanctioned match on WrestleMania because, yes, it's bringing the hype up, oh, this is gonna be intense. But the funny thing about it all is it's like really it's the most sold-out show of the year, Las Vegas. You're putting an unsanctioned match, even though it's gonna be on the WrestleMania card. It's just kind of funny how they did that, but but I get it. It's to bring in the viewers, and they've definitely had some promos where you know they're both promising to destroy each other. So found that very interesting. With this, Jacob Fatto and Drew McIntyre, they really bring it. Um, I, however, feel like with this match, and it's just my opinion, Drew McIntyre is gonna do I I believe some acting off offset. I've also heard interviews that you know he could even become babyface at some point again, which he he was during that COVID uh WrestleMania run. But Jacob Thought too also, he's like that gangster, like that badass, and you know, he he's gonna fuck you up. So I feel like overall, yes, Drew McIntyre is gonna bring it to this match. He always does. That man is intense. Even before he was like super ripped, when he left wrestling or excuse me, WWE the first time and went to IWC over in Scotland. I believe that he, even that elimination chamber match when he was a lot smaller, not with the beard, he was bringing it. He's always been an intense wrestler. So I believe him bringing that European style of wrestling to this unsanctioned match, it's gonna be fun to watch. But Jacob Foutu is gonna get the win. I see Drew McIntyre going off TV for a while, and then when he comes back, that that battle between him and Fau 2 is gonna be over, and then he'll end up, you know, I think having a babyface run. And again, I don't know any of this. I'm not in the writers' room, but these are my predictions from a wrestling fan and from a fellow podcaster that all podcast people all weekend this weekend are are trying to break down all the matches. The Women's World Championship, which is Stephanie back here versus Liv Morgan, that has had a lot of hype. I believe uh this match will be very, very intense. Uh, Liv Morgan's a hell of a wrestler. She's been doing great. She made a song recently. She's really got the backing from WWE and her story, being a Hooters girl, Enzo Amori, you know, not the wrestler, but the actual guy um who's not in WWE anymore, but I still believe was one of the best ever to do it on the mic. He's still in the wrestling world. He pretty much found lived Morgan, and she's just really taken off with the career. Judgment Day, uh Dominic Mysterio. So I feel like with Stephanie back here, she though brings super talent. She was on the uh WrestleMania, they had like a event promoting the event, and they were all uh kind of going over um you know interviews and doing stuff. You can just tell she's really excited, and she's really been attacking Liv Morgan. She gave Liv Morgan a nod on her forehead that was awful. So I believe with this match, it's gonna be intense, it's gonna be a battle. Um, and I I have listened to some other experts who think Liv will lose, but I believe Liv Morgan wins this match. I think she takes the title back. I think Stephanie back here, who is super talented, who will probably get another championship match and who will probably also win other belts in WWE. I think Liv Morgan will have some kind of interference from somebody, and she'll bring it. And especially the promo with the with the music, with her Coachella, because Coachella's here recently, and a lot of wrestlers, especially the divas and the girls, had went out to Coachella and you know were trying to show off with the Slurries, and and any of that promotional media and imagery is gonna help any event when you're trying to promote something. So Coachella was really big for WWE as well. Um, again, I don't think they were partners, just a lot of the wrestlers went out. Um, so I think Liv Morgan will win that title for this match. The women's international, or excuse me, the women's intercontinental championship. I didn't mean to say international. When you see enter, it kind of mixes those words. But overall, it's gonna be AJ Lee, the champion, versus uh Becky Lynch. And I believe with this match, you are seeing two people who hate each other, who have had rivalries, their husbands hate each other, Seth Rollins or CM Punk. AJ Lee coming back, you know, she's still popular as ever. Um, she was such an interesting WWE superstar in her first run before she even was with Punk. You know, she was involved with Daniel Bryan's uh uh storyline. She used to skip around the ring, she played like that crazy one. Uh, but she is talented. And when she's back, you can tell she's hungry to be back. She went through some personal things, and now that she's back, it's really cool seeing her have the title. And her and Becky Lynch are always very, very dynamic fighting each other because they they don't like each other. They bring that intensity. However, I believe Becky Lynch's character has really gone down in popularity. Uh, of course, you know, she's a heel, so it's gonna have some kind of effect to that. But I believe that AJ Lee is gonna win this title. I don't see Becky Lynch um winning this. I also think that WWE wants AJ Lee to have another WrestleMania moment, like a big night, and for her to retain the title. I think after this match happens, uh will there still be involvement between the two? Of course. Um it's a rivalry that WWE is always gonna show and always gonna have, but at the end of the night, AJ Lee is gonna retain that title. The women's tag team championship. So you got Nya Jax and Last Legend, who are the champions, versus Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss versus Bailey and Laura, or excuse me, I always butcher this, Lyra Balkyra, and then versus Nikki and Bree Bella with the Bella twins that are back. So with the women's tag team championship, um, Naya Jax and Last Legend, they're heels, of course. They've been very intense, they've been very good title. Anytime Naya Jax is around, she's coming to bully, she's coming to you know lay down the law. But with this match being the women's tag team championship, all four teams are gonna bring it. But the ones that I think are gonna pull it off, I think it's gonna be Bailey and Lyra Valkyra. Um, they have had a very good tag team. Uh, Bailey actually had tons of uh women wrestlers out to her house um for an event. I don't know if it was actually her house or an Airbnb, but it was really cool seeing her do that. Um, I feel like she needs another WrestleMania moment. I think Nikki and Bree Bella, already, you know, Hall of Famers coming back. Yeah, it's cool. Their story, they're together. They WWE might like to say, hey, we got the sisters win it all, but I don't believe that's gonna happen. I think Nya Jackson, Last Legend, have held the titles for too long. So WWE's gonna take those off of them. And then Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss are fun, and and they got a good story where you know they didn't like each other, then they like each other, and it's like I just again, two legends, definitely respect them individually as solo superstars, but I just I've never been a fan of that tag team. But Bailey and Lyra Bakira, I think, are gonna win it. I think it's gonna be great for uh Lyra's uh career, and I think Bailey definitely deserves this again because Bailey's already had a big WWE WrestleMania moment uh you know in the past, but this will be really big. And her win the women's tag team, I think it's gonna be good momentum going into uh the rest of the weeks and two weeks for uh you know what they could bring um to that tag team bang, having like rematches and people, you know, I can see Nia Jackson Last Legend if they drop the belts trying to battle whoever uh does win, but I just see Bailey and Lyra taking the the belts. Um the next match is gonna be Seth Rollins versus Gunther. So everyone knows Gunther retired John Cena, Gunther retired AJ Styles. Gunther has been on this big retirement push. He's the general, he's this very massive dude. His career has been so crazy. He was this heavy set, fat wrestler who was always intense, and then he lost all this weight, and now he's been kind of the guy in WWE that nobody can stop. I am not a Gunther fan. I do not like his wrestling style. I do believe he's intense, I do believe he's had some entertaining matches, but I'm not a big fan of his wrestling style, and I believe that with them, I think it's gonna be intense. And Seth Rollins, you know, and and Gunther have been attacking each other a lot recently. And Seth Rollins, I think, you know, with Gunther, I just don't see how WWE can have Gunther lose and Seth Rollins wins. It's like you're pretty much saying Seth Rollins is is bigger and better than John Cena AJ Styles, two of the best wrestlers of all time. I just do not see that happening. Um, I know John Cena is the host, I know he's involved, but with what Gunther's done, I just do not believe that happening. Um, I do think WWE's done a very, very good job with the Gunther push, of course, because they want him to be that dominator. He's again similar to the Undertaker Brock Lesnar legacy where it took forever for anybody to take them down. So if Seth Rollins does get the upset win, it will be huge. It'll be huge for Seth, and I think the momentum for Seth is just going to take off. However, I just think WWE's kind of got their hands tied and they got to get Gunther this win. Also, with Gunther retiring everybody and having the big past year, I just feel like they're they're wanting him to get that win. So the main event of the night, the undisputed WWE championship, Cody Rhodes, who's the champion versus Randy Orton. If Randy Orton wins this belt, it'll be number 15. Uh John Cena has 16, which is the most of all time. Some people say Ric Flair had over 20. Ric Flair always claims that, but says that he was, you know, told not to have some represented. And of course, he won some of these in WCW and other places. However, Cody Rhodes has been on a run. Ever since he left WWE originally, went to AEW, was the backbone of AEW, now back with WWE, he's been huge. And he will do anything for the company, anything for wrestling, and he's had some really, really intense matches. And this Randy Orton Cody Rhodes thing dates back to you know Kevin Owens and Cody, and Cody and Randy were friends and had a lot of respect for each other. However, I think they're even still friends in a way. I think there's a respect there, but right now, with Randy getting involved with Pat McAfee, no one respects as the fans. I mean, the the feedback from the fans and YouTubers and people alone saying, excuse me, why is Pat McAfee involved with this with this match and this caliber? I just don't think Pat McAfee is getting you the draw. I think what the draw is, is is Cody Rhodes, this huge champion that's been a huge push in WWE, battling Randy Orton, the WWE legend, um, one that some people even have on their Mount Rushmore of wrestling. The way I see this match playing out, however, I think Cody Rhodes wins the match. Um, WWE loves Cody Rhodes. They love him having the belt. I think Randy Orton, this would be a good time for WWE to say, hey, we still gave you your flowers. Hey, you got another belt win. However, Randy Orton is the big push right now. Cody's gonna have a longer career. Randy's had a lot of injuries. Um, I think Pat McAfee will be involved. But my other problem with it is, though, and this is where I got to bring it up, the only reason I think Cody Rhodes wins is because I just think they want to push him. However, it's kind of like he's gotta lose this match. And the reason why I say he has to lose it, they're already promoting backlash, Cody and Jelly Row versus Randy Orton and Pat McAfee. So if Pat McAfee has to leave WWE in the wrestling business as a whole, if Randy loses tonight, how can they have that backlash match here in the future? Very, very weird how that played out. Did not like how WWE did that. So, yes, can I see Randy Orton winning and get number 15? Yeah, and I think people wouldn't be disappointed with everything that Orton's done and the RKO, you know, which is like he loves to say, the three most dangerous letters in wrestling. However, I still can see Cody getting the win. But I don't know if there could be a disqualification played where that keeps it going, um, and nobody like really gets a true win. I don't know. But I do see Randy Orton getting the win if WWE really wants to keep promoting this backlash thing and have Pat around. But I just believe on night one of WrestleMania with Cody being their undisputed champion, I just think Cody's gonna get the win. And I but I'm I'm very interested to play it out. That's why I want to share all those details because this match could go either way. This is one match that has a lot of people, especially big-time wrestling fans, stumped and a little confused of how it could really play out. So, but that's WrestleMania 42 night one's card. Those are my overall predictions. Like I said, I got the Usos and LA Knight winning, I got Jacob Fatou winning, I got Liv Morgan winning, I got AJ Lee winning, I got Bailey and Lyra Valkyra winning, I got Gunther winning, and then I have Cody Rhodes winning. So let's see how it plays out. That's night one of WrestleMania 42. And then when you play episode 13, the next episode, you'll be getting night two's roundup. Enjoy WrestleMania 42, folks. Peace.
